The fog sealing road pavement project in parts of Lyon County is nearing the end.
Over the last two weeks, the Lyon County Highway Department fog-sealed from Road 130 near Kansas Highway 99 east into Hartford and then south to near Roads 50 and Z. Work Friday involves Road F from Road 320 north to US Highway 56. Monday’s project zone tentatively involves roads around Olpe.
Flaggers continue in the area. Drivers must stay off fog-sealed areas for at least an hour for the treatment to be effective.
