DISNEY+ is hiking its subscription prices for millions of UK customers but there's a simple way to avoid it.
The streaming service will also launch two new subscription tiers in the Autumn - including a cheaper ad-based version.
Disney+ will launch a costlier premium tier which will up the bills for millions of current subscribers by £3 a month.
Dubbed Disney+ premium all UK subscribers will be moved over and expected to pay £10.99 a month instead of £7.99.
But it will also launch an add-free Disney+ Standard tier for £7.99 a month and an ad-based tier priced at £4.99 a month.
All new customers will pay the following rates if they sign up for the streaming service from November 1:

- Disney+ standard (with Ads) - £4.99 a month
- Disney+ standard (without Ads) - £7.99 a month (or £79.90 annually)
- Disney+ premium - £10.99 a month (or £109.90 annually)
Existing customers will automatically be switched over to the premium Tier from November 1 but will need to initiate a move to a cheaper subscription before December 6.
After this date, these customers will be billed the new pricing from their next billing cycle.
The two standard tiers will allow customers to stream content with a resolution of up to 1080p.

Can I get Disney+ cheaper or for free?
Tesco Clubcard holders can exchange their points for a subscription to Disney+.
You can double the value of your points when you spend them with certain retailers, meaning you could swap £12 of Clubcard points for a three-month subscription.
Mobile provider O2 has also offered a subscription of up to six months for Disney+ to new customers or those upgrading their plan.
It's easy for the cost of using various streaming services to add up quickly, but there are ways to keep costs down.
Paying annually rather than monthly can cut the cost.
Currently, Disney+ is £79.90 for the year, saving you almost £16 on the monthly cost.
