Things are not looking great for Bravo Team right now. Jason made a call that ended in disaster in the previous episode. He wanted to use the prisoner they captured to get more intel, but this was after he’d agreed to let the prisoner go.
Anything for the mission. That’s something Jason has lived by for a long time, but it’s not the way Omar does things. The two SEALs do not get along at all, although Sonny is starting to trust the new guy considering the situation he’d found himself in earlier in the episode.
In SEAL Team Season 6, Episode 5, things are going from bad to worse for the relationship between Jason and Omar. The trust is broken after a mistake, and it’s now having a knock-on effect with the troops in Syria Bravo Team is working with.
Clay struggles on the home front in SEAL Team Season 6, Episode 5
The synopsis doesn’t tell us anything about what Clay is up to at home. He’s struggling right now, and that’s completely understandable. He’s rushing his recovery—but I type that as someone who completely gets it and has rushed recovery (albeit not for this exact reason) before. It’s the military mindset, and I can completely relate to where Clay is right now.
He’s just realizing that he can’t just jump straight into what he used to be. His injury affects everything, and he needs to take steps to accept that so he can overcome the downsides.
With that baby monitor going off when he was stuck in a position where he couldn’t get to Brian quickly, it’s going to have a knock-on effect. Will he be able to take a step away from pushing himself and work on figuring out the smaller things first?
