SEAL BEACH, CA — A "serious" traffic collision prompted police to urge drivers to avoid an area of Seal Beach on Saturday afternoon while they investigated the incident.

The crash was reported just after 3 p.m. on Lamson Avenue between Seal Beach Boulevard and Candleberry Avenue.
