Who has the Karma Seal? Which Otsutsuki can come back?
So far, only three Boruto characters have the Karma Seal in the anime: Boruto himself, who received it after defeating Momoshiki, while the villain was on the verge of death; Jigen, the monk whose body was completely taken over by Isshiki; and Kawaki, which was chosen by Isshiki to become his new ship. In the manga, in addition to these three, there is Code, who also received the Isshiki seal and managed to survive, although Otsutsuki’s transfer failed.
No other clan member has been found to have prepared vessels, but in theory none of them are capable of doing so. Thus, it is difficult to guarantee that an Otsutsuki has actually been defeated, as even death cannot guarantee that he will not return.

For those who carry the mark, using the powers of Karma can easily lead to exhaustion, especially when the user is already weakened or does not know how to control the abilities coming from the seal. Some more inexperienced, like Boruto, have also shown pain when activating the brand’s powers, but those with greater control, like Jigen, don’t seem to suffer from this problem.
Yet any incomplete receptacle suffers greatly if it harnesses the full power of Karma, which can cause even the most experienced users to collapse.
