Despite the pleas of some policymakers, millions of Americans will be hitting the road this weekend to celebrate Thanksgiving with family and friends.

AAA projects that the overall number will be less than half as much as usual, but 95% of trips will be by car.

While congestion isn’t expected to be as bad as years past, some drivers could still experience delays of over an hour in some metro areas on Wednesday afternoon, according to data provided by INRIX.

If you’re looking to avoid getting stuck in a jam, you should plan to leave well before or after the following times on these key thoroughfares:

Atlanta — I85 South: 3:30 p.m.

Boston — I93 North: 3:15 p.m.

Chicago — I290 West: 4 p.m.

Detroit — I96 West: 4 p.m.

Houston — I10 West: 3:45 p.m.

Los Angeles — I5 South: 5:30 p.m.

New York — I95 South: 3:45 p.m

San Francisco — I580 East: 3:45 p.m.

Seattle — I5 South: 1:15 p.m.

Washington, D.C. — I95 South: 11:45 a.m.
