ANNAPOLIS, MD — Navy SEAL Robert O'Neill bought a stake in the ownership of Seawolf Brewing Company, an Annapolis brewery. O'Neill was a member of SEAL Team 6, the unit that shot and killed Al Qaeda founder Osama bin Laden. O'Nell will serve as the company's national brand ambassador and director of military relations.

"I'm proud to join the Seawolf Team," O'Neill said in a press release. "Now more than ever, America deserves a great beer!"

After leaving the SEALs, O'Neill wrote "The Operator: Firing the Shots That Killed Osama bin Laden and My Years as a SEAL Team Warrior," detailing his work in the Navy. O'Neil also founded the Special Operators Transition Foundation, an organization that helps veterans transition back into civilian life.

"We're ecstatic to have Rob join our ownership team and to represent our brands," Seawolf
Brewing Company CEO Alan Beal said in the release. "We have the utmost respect for his incredible service to our country, and his commitment to assisting his fellow veterans. Rob is the embodiment of our military brands and company vision. Rob's the veteran we've been looking for to join our mission and assist us in taking our company to the next level."

Seawolf brews beers as a tribute to veterans. The brewery currently sells its beers at several Navy Exchange Service Command and Total Wine stores across Maryland and Virginia. The company is currently raising funds to open a turn-key brewery.

The company did not disclose how much O'Neill's stake is worth.
