MILLIONS of Sky customers are facing bills rises of up to £72 a year from April 1 - but you may be able to cut your costs and save hundreds of pounds a year.
The telecoms giant is putting up bills by an average of £3 a month.
The amount you'll pay depends on what packages and add-on subscriptions you're signed up to.
Whether you want to stay with Sky or ditch and switch to another provider, there are ways to save money.
Before you take action, check whether you can cancel your contract penalty free.
If you're outside the minimum term of your contract - usually 12 or 18 months - then you can leave if you're unhappy with the rise.
If you're an Essential broadband only customer and you're still inside the minimum term of your contract then you can cancel without paying a fee.
You'll need to give them 3o days notice if you want to leave.
If you're not an Essential broadband only customer and you're in the minimum term of your contract then check how much the fee would be to leave.
1. Are you paying extra?
First up you need to check that you're not paying twice for the same service. Do you pay for Netflix and also get it through Sky? Check your bills.
Write down all the channels and programmes you watch and work out whether you want to keep everything you currently sign up for.
Could you do without HD TV? Or perhaps you don't really watch the cinema channels that often and already have a Netflix account you mainly use for watching films.
Work out what you can cut down on and tell Sky you want to ditch it.
2. Haggle with Sky if you want to stay
f you want to stick with Sky - or any early exit penalties mean it's not worth switching away - try and haggle your bill down.
Call Sky and say you're unhappy with the price increase and as a loyal customer you want to know if you can get a better deal.

Another said: "Sky sent me a price increase letter phoned to cancel they reduced proposed £71.25 to £53 for 12 months".
3. Switch for a cheaper price
If you're not bothered by staying with Sky but want to continue with a subscription TV service, use a comparison website, such as BroadbandChoices or uSwitch, to check if you can switch and save.
Sky isn't the only telecoms firm upping prices, BT is adding £11.40 to bills next month.
While EE is upping bills by almost £28 from the end of March.
